Art of the Fox
Here you can see the paintings from “Art of the Fox," my 2017-2019 project. I worked with The Conservation Foundation’s Fox River Initiative, an environmental education and outreach program about the Fox River and the Fox Valley. Through “Art of the Fox” we broadened interest in the health of the Fox River by appealing to the river’s esthetic value. I painted Fox River landscapes from West Dundee, IL in the north all the way down to Ottawa, IL where the Fox joins the Illinois River. We presented a major exhibition of these paintings in the Fall of 2018 at the Schingoethe Center at Aurora University.
